The Southern Brave continued to look down on the rest in a dominant victory against London Spirit in the women’s Hundred on Sunday. Having bowled the Spirit out for 93, Stafanie Taylor, continuing her excellent form with the bat, and Maia Bouchier eventually knocked the runs off with seven wickets in hand.
The Brave now top the league with four wins from four, closely followed by the Northern Superchargers, just a point off the top. If Taylor can extend her purple patch and Amanda Jade-Wellington, who took four wickets for fourteen runs, continues to impress, it is nonetheless difficult to see their commanding position being challenged.
