Northern Superchargers’ Adil Rashid snared two wickets in a row in The Hundred’s encounter against Oval Invincibles, although the credit for the second dismissal goes to Dane Vilas, who deployed quicksilver reflexes to hold on to an edge that was travelling. Typically a keeper, he reacted well to a fast-fizzing flash outside off as the ball nestled in his hands following a couple of nervy juggles. Interestingly, the slip had specifically been brought in for the new man at the crease after Rashid had Laurie Evans hoicking to deep-mid-wicket on the previous delivery.
