(Video) Sandeep Warrier dons the magnificent blue as India dig deep into reserves

Indian paceman Sandeep Warrier is set to make his international debut in the third and deciding T20I against Sri Lanka. Rueing the absence of half of their squad due to Krunal Pandya’s positive test, India had to dig deep into their reserves after Navdeep Saini sustained an injury to his shoulder while fielding as a substitution in the second T20I.

Hailing from Kerala, Warrier has loads of five- and four-wicket hauls in Ranji Trophy to his credit and is a fine exponent of swing bowling, with a lethal bouncer in his weaponry too. Warrier is one of the five net bowlers added to India’s main squad for the final two T20Is against Sri Lanka in the wake of the Covid infiltration that rocked the visitor’s camp.
