New Zealand were banking on Michael Bracewell to add some valuable lower-order runs, but the all-rounder has thrown his wicket away. He got away with a couple of miscues, but ran out of luck eventually, skipping down the track to try and go over mid-on only to chip it straight to England skipper Ben Stokes at mid-on.
Earlier, Devon Conway’s assured, unbeaten 72 helped New Zealand get their innings back on track after the top-order wobble and reach 138 for 5 at Tea on Day 2 of the first Test at the Bay Oval in Mount Maunganui, on Friday.
A soft dismissal by his standards 😔
