As Windies’ virtuoso Sir Garfield Sobers turns 85 today, let’s take a trip down the memory lane to revel in his six-binge as he became the first man to hit six sixes in an over in first-class cricket. He recorded the marvellous feat while playing in the English County Championship for Nottinghamshire against Glamorgan in 1968. Malcolm Nash, a left-arm seamer, was the unfortunate bowler to cop the brutal treatment by one of the all-time greats to have graced the game.
