Veteran left-arm seamer Jaydev Unadkat has been released from India’s squad for the second Test against Australia, the BCCI confimred via a media release. Unadkat will now link up with the Saurashtra camp ahead of their Ranji Trophy final against Bengal, to be played on February 16.
Unadkat has 373 wickets to his name at an average of just 22.61 in his decorated first-class career. He played a key role in Saurashtra’s memorable Ranji Trophy triumph in 2019-20, by picking up an admirable 67 wickets.
