Aiden Markram brought his A-game during the SA20 semi-final on Thursday, February 9. The Sunrisers Eastern Cape skipper scored a rollicking 58-ball 100 as his team recorded a 14-run win over Joburg Super Kings at the SuperSport Park in Centurion.
Markram raised his half-century in 41 balls, while consuming just 16 balls to score the next fifty. His first ton in T20 cricket comprised six sixes and six fours. The panache-laden knock paved the way for his side’s entry into the final, where Markram got the wicket of Colin Ingram.
