Temba Bavuma was consigned to a second golden duck in three SA20 innings after copping an unplayable bouncer from Lizaad Williams.
In Thursday’s SA20 semi-final against the Super Kings in Centurion, the Proteas white-ball captain lobbed a catch to first slip while trying to fend an effort ball that reared up at him nastily.
Bavuma was strangled down the leg side off the first ball he faced in SA20 cricket, against Durban’s Super Giants at Kingsmead, before hitting a 50 off 34 balls against the Joburg Super Giants at the Wanderers.
