Temba Bavuma’s striking performances in South Africa’s 2-1 ODI series win over England have earned him an SA20 deal after he found no takers at the auction last year. Bavuma will replace Tom Abell at Sunrisers Eastern Cape. The Proteas captain’s big-hitting impressed the franchise to call him in for Abell. It’s worth noting that Abell has been named in England’s ODI and T20I squads for the tour of Bangladesh.
