Riding on Shubman Gill’s imperious maiden century in the format and Hardik Pandya’s all-round show, India registered an emphatic 168-run win – their biggest victory margin in T20Is – against New Zealand, on Wednesday, in Ahmedabad. The precocious Gill finished unbeaten on a 63-ball 126, making him the youngest Indian to score centuries in all three formats. After piling on their fifth-best score – 234/4 – the hosts bundled out New Zealand for 66 in only 12.1 overs, their third-lowest in T20Is.
