Leicestershire have inked a deal with classy India batter Ajinkya Rahane for the 2023 season, the county confirmed on January 31. This will be Rahaneโs second stint in County cricket after he turned up for Hampshire in 2019.
Rahane will be available for eight games in the County Championship as he is set to join the county after the conclusion of Indian Premier League 2023. The 34-year-old will also be available to play the entire One-Day Cup competition given he is not in the reckoning of the national side.
