The legendary MS Dhoni is known to be the pioneer of the helicopter shot, a whippy flick he employed, rather outrageously, to manufacture sixes off half-volleys and blockhole yorkers. Adil Rashid followed in his footsteps as he carved a replica while batting for Northern Superchargers in The Hundred, digging out a shooter with a powerful swirl of the wrists to bisect the gap between square leg and mid-wicket and collect a useful boundary.
