Ruturaj Gaikwad has been ruled out of the three-match T20I series against New Zealand after experiencing wrist pain. The 25-year-old opening batter has checked into the National Cricket Academy in Bangalore for injury diagnosis and subsequent rehabilitation.
Gaikwad last featured in the Ranji Trophy clash for Maharashtra against Hyderabad. He scored 8 and 0 in that game and then reported to the BCCI about his wrist condition.
