No match a formality when you’re playing for India: Rahul Dravid on dead rubber

With India having already secured the series following an authoritative 8-wicket win over New Zealand in Raipur, Rahul Dravid, stressed that Rohit Sharma & Co. won’t be playing for formality’s sake in the dead rubber in Indore. While speaking about the need to manage workloads, the Indian head coach also stressed on the importance of providing ample game time to the fringe players who may not necessarily walk into the best XI.

India, who are the hosts for the 2023 50-over World Cup, earned themselves a direct qualification to the tournament, bearing little consequence of the Super League standings.
