Fazalhaq Farooqi came to bowl the second over of Abu Dhabi Knight Riders’ innings at the Zayed Cricket Stadium. His first ball slipped out of his hand and flew skywards, clearing the slips easily as batter Brandon King and wicketkeeper Nicholas Pooran wore a bemused look.
The ball finally landed a fair distance behind first slip. The fielder from gully tried his level best in the endeavour to cut off the boundary, but given the momentum the ball had, there was little he could do to spare the blushes.
