Renshaw reprieved on 20 as poor throw yorks Zampa

Matt Renshaw’s enterprising boundary off the final ball secured Brisbane Heat a three-wicket win over Melbourne Stars to help keep their dream of reaching the BBL finals alive. Chasing 160 for victory, the visitors wobbled and bounced back several times before reaching their target in a dramatic finish at the MCG on Monday.

Renshaw was the chief architect of the victory, top-scoring with an unbeaten 90 from 56 deliveries, including a scoop to finish things off in style under pressure. He was, however, lucky to be reprieved on 20 when Adam Zampa failed to collect a dismal throw right at the base of the stumps.
