Kohli unleashed a catalogue of eye-pleasing shots including short-arm thumps over cover and the signature drives. His 166* was jewelled with eight sixes, the maximum he’s hit in an ODI innings. While Gill perished soon after getting to his second ODI ton, falling to a Kasun Rajitha delivery that kept a tad low, Kohli took on the mantle of thrusting the innings ahead having got to a fifty. He was supported well by Shreyas Iyer, who kept the tempo up with a 32-ball 38.
Virat Kohli was utterly glorious 🙌 🙌 as he creamed 1⃣6⃣6⃣* and was our top performer from the first innings of the third #INDvSL ODI 👏 👏
