Adil Rashid hit a glorious helicopter shot for the Northern Superchargers against the Trent Rockets in their Hundred clash that harked back to the trademark stroke of India legend MS Dhoni. Rashid’s knock of ten helped the Superchargers to a total of 132 all out after a dramatic collapse saw them lose five wickets for just ten runs.
It seems every time Rashid comes to the crease calls that he is “a wristy player” ring around the ground, along with endless accounts of his first-class average suggesting he is “no mug with the bat”. Amongst all the cliches Rashid will be pleased to have offered another glimpse into his undoubted ability.
