Arshdeep Singh picks up two wickets in the 17th over, including the all-important wicket of the in-form Dasun Shanaka and wraps up a jumbo 91-run win for India. Sri Lanka wilted under the asking-rate pressure and were bowled out for only 137 in response to India’s mammoth 229/5. It was a finale that doesn’t quite do justice to how closely fought the remainder of the series was, with Sri Lanka drawling levekl at Pune after India narrowly secured the opener at Wankhede.
