Adam Hose struck his maiden half-century for Adelaide Strikers in their home clash with Melbourne Stars in the Big Bash League. The Worcestershire newcomer reached his fifty off 37 balls with a two straight hits down the ground off New Zealand bowler, Trent Boult, as his side chased a steep 187-run target. He remained unbeaten on 56 from 41 deliveries but Strikers fell short of the finish line, going down by eight runs as they could only manage 178-5.
