66 balls into the 27-run strong partnership, Shreyas Iyer finally broke the shackles. On 97/7, Iyer lofted Shakib Al Hasan over mid off for a boundary. The timing wasn’t immaculate but good enough to cler the fielder backpedalling from mid-off. It was followed by Shakib dragging his length down and Iyer pulled the freebie promptly over midwicket. He had one more boundary in the next over when Mehidy Hasan Miraz finally missed his length and erred on the shorter side to be drilled through cover.
India’s score has crossed the 💯-run mark!
