Express quick Jofra Archer has been picked in an England squad for the first time since March 2021 after he was named in the ODI squad to take on South Africa. The pacer has had a debilitating tryst with injuries of late.
“He is recovering well from an elbow injury and is expected to return to international cricket in South Africa next month,” said the ECB via a media release.
The first and second of the three one-dayers will be played in Bloemfontein on January 27 and 29 January respectively, followed by the concluding ODI on 1 February in Kimberly.
