Michael Neser took a hat-trick on BBL return before Melbourne Renegades, buoyed by an outrageous counterpunch from Andre Russell, managed to get the better of Brisbane Heat once again. On a tricky surface in Geelong, Renegades were in deep trouble in their manageable chase of 138 after Neser’s heroics. But Russell changed the complexion of the game with 57 off 42 balls laced by six mighty maximums.
