Pakistan see through nine nervy overs after England attain 50-run lead

Pakistan survived the nervy nine overs before close of play on Day 2 of the Karachi Test and have managed to reduce England’s lead to 29. Both teams lasted almost similar number of overs in their first dig, but the visitors scored at a greater clip to eke out a 50-run lead. Surprisingly, both the skippers got run out after looking in fine fettle. While Harry Brook continued his good form to become England’s leading run-scorer in a Test series in Pakistan, Joe Root got out for a golden duck only for the third time in the longest format.
