Joe Root takes out Faheem Ashraf early on Day 4

Saud Shakeel and Imam-ul-Haq led Pakistan’s fightback on Day 3 and it was their 108-run partnership that has lent the hosts hope of pulling off a series-levelling win by chasing down 355. Imam’s wicket towards the end of day’s play ensured England still have the upper hand, but Pakistan would fancy their chances even though Faheem Ashraf has been sent packing early on the fourth day. The surface hasn’t deteriorated much with the ball spinning slowly and scooting a little low.
