Shafique on his way as hotspot catches murmur

Debutant Abrar Ahmed finished with 7 for 114 as England were bowled out for 281 in the Multan Test. James Anderson didn’t waste much time to strike as he sent back Imam-ul-Haq for a duck. Babar Azam walked in at number three and went about his business gracefully even though he lost Abdullah Shafique. Since then Saud Shakeel has given him good company and this pair will have to kick on if Pakistan are to get close to the England total of 281 or even take a lead.
