Tom Lammonby’s blinder of a catch at deep square leg sent Jason Roy packing in the maiden men’s clash of The Hundred between Oval Invincibles and Manchester Originals. Opening for the Invincibles, Roy couldn’t get hold of his hoick as Lammonby came swooping in from the mid-wicket boundary to pluck an absolute stunner inches from the turf.
However, unsure of the legality of the catch, Roy stood his ground for a while before the umpire’s soft-signal of out was validated by the third umpire.
