Struggling at 155/7, Victoria aided by gritty tail-enders

A Sheffiield Shield encounter that was heading towards conclusion turned on its head as Victoria staged an amazing turnaround against Tasmania. By stumps on day two, Victoria were staring down the barrel having lost seven wickets for 155, leading by just 63. However, Tasmania were in for a rude shock as Sam Harper and Samuel Elliott showed the stomach for a fight.

The duo frustrated the living daylights out of the bowling side by adding 84 valuable runs for the eighth wicket before Harper departed for 57. The Tasmania bowlers had no respite, however, as Jon Holland came out all guns blazing to score a half-century.
