Martin Guptill has inked a contract with Melbourne Renegades for the upcoming Big Bash League season. The highest T20I run-getter for New Zealand, Guptill recently relinquished his national contract in order to globetrot pursuing league opportunities. Guptill’s only appearance in the BBL up until this point was a solitary game for Sydney Thunder 10 seasons ago.
The Renegades kickstart their campaign on December 15 against the Brisbane Heat in Cairns, before hosting Sydney Thunder at the Marvel Stadium on December 18.
