Tim Southee bagged a hat-trick in the final over of the Indian innings during the second T20I at the Bay Oval. After Hardik Pandya, who was struggling to time the ball, picked a brace off the first two deliveries each, he holed out to the fielder at long off. Deepak Hooda swung at a delivery bowled at his hips only to find short fine leg and Washington Sundar too departed while aiming for a big hit. More importantly, centurion Suryakumar Yadav didn’t get to face a single ball in that over, where only five runs were conceded.
