Dawid Malan scored a brilliant century off 107 balls to help England get back on their feet after a disastrous start in the series-opening one-dayer against Australia. England lost Jason Roy, James Vince, Phil Salt, Jos Buttler cheaply but Malan took on the repair job with aplomb. Liam Dawson is accompanying Malan at the crease and the pair will be keen to take England to a competitive score. Today’s effort was Malan’s second hunred in ODI cricket, and the visitors would bank on the well-set southpaw to deliver the finishing kick.
