England captain Jos Buttler said the team is excited about playing the final of the T20 World Cup after handing India a mauling in the semi-finale, but it’s imperative to start fresh, while addressing a press conference on Saturday. Buttler and Alex Hales shared an unbeaten partnership to gun down a 170-run target in Adelaide, as India left another ICC tournament empty-handed.
“There is huge excitement for the match. But it (the victory in semi-final) doesn’t count for anything because we have to start afresh,” said the captain ahead of their summit clash against Pakistan. Buttler hoped there would be a capacity crowd attending the final to be played in Melbourne.
