India were given a slight scare ahead of their T20 World Cup semifinal against England after Rohit Sharma was struck on his right forearm. The Indian captain copped the blow while facing throw downs as a delivery reared up from a length. He was given immediate attention by the team’s support staff.
Rohit iced his injury with mental coach Paddy Upton by his side even as throw down specialist D Raghavendra was stressed by the development, as per Cricbuzz. Eventually, Rohit did return after half an hour and batted without any discomfort.
Rohit Sharma has had a net now & he’s smiling again and also most importantly Raghu is not looking distraught. Looks like he’s alright and good to go #T20WorldCup pic.twitter.com/iJN2DiJ1lu
