Moeen Ali puts down Glenn Phillips at cover point

Moeen Ali reprieved Glenn Phillips in the 180-run chase after England claimed both New Zealand openers in short order. It was a tossed up delivery around off and Phillips went for a lofted shot. He only managed to slice it towards cover-point where Moeen moved to his left, but didn’t even get his hands to it as the chance went abegging. The ball hit his chest and Glenn Phillips was given a life early on in his innings. “That’s an unbelievable dropped catch,” reckons Michael Atherton on air.
