Virat Kohli flicked away a high full toss over deep square leg and Suryakumar Yadav flicked the final ball of the innings over fine leg to loot 17 from the last over that pushed India to 179/2. Kohli finished unbeaten on 62 off 44 while Suryakumar made the difference at the death with a 25-ball 51.
Kohli went past Chris Gayle (965) to move to second on the list of the leading run-getters in the T20 World Cup. His average of 89.5 in the marqee event has been incredible as well, as much as the lofted cover drive that went all the way.
He enjoyed that one, did #KingKohli! 😲
What was your reaction to this jaw-dropping hit over the covers for six?
