Rahmanullah Gurbaz showed some flair by nonchalantly flicking Chris Woakes for a six over fine leg. However, when express quick Mark Wood came out to bowl, it turned out to be a different story as he edged a 146 kph thunderbolt to the wicketkeeper. Wood is hitting the deck very hard and bowling fast on a track that is offering plenty of pace and bounce, as is always the case in Australia. Earlier, Jos Buttler won the toss and on expected lines England elected to bowl.
