Ireland’s Curtis Campher and George Dockrell joined forces to add 119 unbeaten runs and take their side to an improbable six-wicket win over Scotland that kept Group B well and truly alive ahead of Friday’s final round of matches.
Ireland looked headed for a second straight defeat in Group B when they were shot down to 61/4 in the 10th over chasing a daunting 177-run target to survive in the T20 World Cup before being buoyed by the alliance between Campher and Dockrell.
