Cameron Green has been drafted into Australia’s 15-man squad for the T20 World Cup in place of the injured Josh Inglis, the ICC announced. It means that the hosts will have to make do without a back-up wicketkeeper for Matthew Wade.
Inglis was ruled out with a hand injury he suffered on a golf course in Sydney and was taken to a local medical facility thereafter. He will now undergo surgery, which puts him out of contention for the rest of the World Cup.
