Shreyas Iyer began with a couple of boundaries off Anrich Nortje while Ishan Kishan played a deft shot off Kagiso Rabada for a boundary in the 13th over. South Africa then restricted the boundaries, with Rabada and Nortje bowling some fallow overs in tandem. Kishan terminated the dry spell with sixes off Keshav Maharaj, his positive match-up, while Shreyas also got into the act. The southpaw brought up a 60-ball fifty while Shreyas reached the landmark off 48 balls with a boundary off Aiden Markram. While Kishan fell short of the magical three figures, Iyer stayed there till the end to help India draw the series level.
