Suryakumar Yadav slammed a typically breathtaking 61 off 22 and put on 102 off just 42 for the third wicket with Virat Kohli (49*) in the second T20I against South Africa. He walked out and broomed away the third ball he faced behind square leg for a boundary. Suryakumar then took down Kagiso Rabada in the 15th over, pilfering 22 runs with shots ranging from a pulled six over square leg, a loft over mid-off and a pair of scoops over the ‘keeper’s head for a four and a six. Suryakumar blazed away to an 18-ball half-century – the joint second-fastest for India in the format.
