Indian opener Shubman Gill smashed his maiden County hundred while batting for Glamorgan against Sussex in Hove. He reached the landmark in 123 deliveries while his team went past 250 for the loss of four in the first innings.
Gill scored a typically stroke-filled 119 runs off 139 deliveries before his mistimed loft over mid-wicket was pouched by Sean Hunt off Jack Carsonโs delivery. His panache-laden innings comprised of 16 boundaries and two sixes, one of which was an innovative upper cut.
