Virat Kohli brought an end to Cameron Green’s innings early with a sharp throw from mid-on in the rain-curtailed 2nd T20I in Nagpur. Green, who made a breezy 30-ball 61 in the last match, hit the ball towards mid-on and set out for a single, albeit a tad casually. Always the livewire, Kohli was quick to get to the ball and threw it with great speed and accuracy to Axar Patel at the non-striker’s end, as the all-rounder collected the ball and knocked the bails off before Green could reach the crease. The run was on but Green’s miscalculation of how firmly he’d hit the ball cost him.
