England pacer Kate Cross struck thrice in quick succession to leave India in tatters in the 3rd ODI at Lord’s, London. The experienced campiagner dismissed Shafali Verma for a five-ball duck, Yastika Bhatia for a two-ball duck and Harmanpreet Kaur for 4 after England skipper Amy Jones won the toss and opted to bowl first.
Shafali Verma’s dismissal was the carbon copy of her wicket in the previous game when Cross burst through her defences to strike timber. The ball cut back in after pitching and went through the gap between the opener’s bat and pad.
