Wanindu Hasaranga arrests three wickets in a game-changing over

Chasing 171, Pakistan weren’t able to retaliate when they lost Babar Azam and Fakhar Zaman off consecutive balls to Pramod Madushan in the Asia cup finale. Both Iftikhar Ahmed and Mohammad Rizwan were slow to get off the blocks and it meant that Pakistan lumbered to 68/2 at the halfway mark. The duo had fared well against Wanindu Hasaranga, picking 25 runs off his first three overs but his fourth, safe to say, all but decided the match. Three wickets fell in that over; that of a well-set Rizwan (55 off 49), Asif Ali and Khushdil Shah, and it led to Pakistan’s downfall as they were bowled out for 147 in 20 overs.
