Kagiso Rabada strikes with the second ball of the fourth day. It was a full delivery and Ollie Robinson doesn’t bother to play it along the ground, chipping it straight to Dean Elgar who recieves some catching practice at short extra cover.
England dominated proceedings for the majority of Day 3 of the third Test at The Oval but South Africa clawed back into the contest with wickets in the final session to limit the home team’s advantage in what is effectively a three-day Test – the opening day was abandoned because of rain and the second day suspended after the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
