Australia all-rounder Glenn Maxwell’s awesome catch to dismiss Martin Guptill in the first One-day International at the Cazaly’s Stadium on Tuesday has reinforced his stature as one of the best fielders in world cricket. Fielding at backward point, Maxwell leapt to his left to take a stunner in the fifth over bowled by Mitchell Starc, getting rid of dangerman Martin Guptill for just six runs. It is a fairly difficult catch going towards his weaker hand but the precociously talented fielder that is Maxwell makes it look relatively easy.
