Sri Lanka got off to a victorious start in the Super 4 stage of the Asia Cup, and fought redemption after their shock defeat to Afghanistan earlier in the tournament. The win was set up by a clinical batting show that helped them gun down 175 with five balls to spare. Despite a top individual score of 36, Sri Lanka got over the line thanks to cameos aplenty. Bhanuka Rajapaksa’s 14-ball 31 came in handy at the end. With 49 needed off the last five, Rajapaksa went 4, 4, 6 against Naveen ul Haq and dwarfed the equation down.
