As wickets tumbled from the othert end, David Warner kept the scorecard ticking over. At 72 for 5, Glenn Maxwell joined forces with the well-set Warner, with the duet putting on a revitalizing stand of 57. Just when both of them were ushering Australia to safer waters, Maxwell offered a return catch to Burl. The leg-spinner also removed Ashton Agar in the same over.
In his very next over, he broke the spine of Australia’s batting unit when Warner top-edged a slog-sweep to midwicket. Burl then applied the finishing touches by dislodging Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazlewood to finish with a five-for.
It only took 18 balls for Ryan Burl to wrap up Australia’s last five wickets!Three overs, 10 runs, five wickets
