Ben Stokes has returned to England’s 15-man squad named for the T20 World Cup, that will kick off next month in Australia. The same squad will also lock horns with Australia in the three-match T20I series in October before the World Cup. Stokes last played a T20I in March 2021.
Opener Jason Roy had to pay the price of his poor form as he missed the cut. England have also named three reserves in Tymal Mills, Liam Dawson and Richard Gleeson – with the last two also part of the 19-member contingent for England’s tour of Pakistan just before the World Cup.
Who are you most excited to see doing their thing? 🏏
