Shaheen Shah Afridi to continue injury rehab in London

Injured Pakistan fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi will travel to London to continue his rehabilitation from a Posterior Cruciate Ligament injury. The 22-year-old sustained the injury while fielding in a Test match against Sri Lanka, and has been out of action ever since. Shaheen, who was present in Dubai to witness his side’s Asia Cup opener against India, will now fly to London where he will receive dedicated knee specialist care under the supervision of PCB Medical Advisory Panel, as per Cricbuzz.

While Shaheen will miss the ongoing Asia Cup and the ensuing series against England, PCB remain optimistic that he’ll be fit in time for the T20 World Cup in October.
